Women’s Ministry
At Everett Assembly of God, our mission for Women’s Ministry is to offer women an opportunity to grow and develop into women of God. We strive to encourage women to pursue God and His destined plan for their lives.
Promoting a safe and secure environment for women to cultivate their individual gifts and talents through service to God is important to us. It is our hope and desire for Women’s Ministry to encourage each woman to identify with the woman God sees and in doing so to develop strong relationships with family, friends, and others in the Body of Christ and in their everyday world.

From TEARS to LAUGHTER with A/G Chewbacca Mom
“Did Jesus ever laugh?”
Answer: Traditionally, paintings of Jesus have tended toward melancholy portrayals of a somber, glum Savior. It is true that Jesus became our Sin-bearer (1 Peter 2:24) and that He “was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain” (Isaiah 53:3). However, this does not mean Jesus never had a lighthearted moment or that He never had occasion to laugh.
The picture of Jesus that we find in the Gospels is one of a well-rounded, magnetic personality. He carried children in His arms—and what child wants to be around someone who never laughs (Mark 10:16)? He was accused of being too joyful on occasion (Luke 7:34). He told John’s disciples that it was not a time for mourning (Matthew 9:15). The very fact that we humans have a sense of humor indicates that God does, too, for we are made in His image.
